Head Coach - Frank Childress

Coach Frank traded a career in accounting for a passion for coaching and hasn’t looked back. He has a true passion with working and developing youth athletes into their best versions.  He’s worked with everyone from NFL athletes to youth performers — bringing the same philosophy to every athlete he trains: build the relationship first, and the results will follow.

When he’s not coaching, you’ll find him on the volleyball courts, in the water, or on a yoga mat.

You have questions. We have answers.

Yes.  When it is properly supervised and age-appropriate.  Decades of research consistently show that youth resistance training is not only safe but beneficial for bone density, injury prevention, muscle growth, coordination, and athletic development.

There starting point is not only age based but development based as well.  This is why we will evaluate our athletes first to make sure this is appropriate for them.  We work with athletes as young as 8 with play-based movement development that builds coordination, body awareness, and athletic ability.  

Not at all.  Every athlete starts with an evaluation, so we can place them in the best environment to be successful.  They do not have to even ben participating in a sport.  Many of our clients are just interesting in learning how to exercise properly.  We will work with total beginners and more advanced athletes.  

We build athletes.  Most sports have very similar foundational needs to be successful.  Our training is athlete first, not sport specific.  We build the foundation of strength, speed, power, coordination, and movement quality.  When appropriate, sport specific skills may be added.  Current athletes we work with train for baseball, soccer, football, basketball, diving, swimming, lacrosse, golf, volleyball, track, and more.  

Most of the workouts are performed in a small group setting.  Initially your athlete might start with a private training trial to better prepare them for the group.
