Our family loves Coach Frank! He has trained both my 16 year old daughter and 13 year old son for years now. Frank is excellent at pushing both of my kids beyond their own expectations of themselves. Both my son and daughter know they will get a tough workout every time, and will learn and grow, and become stronger as a result. He is a stickler on proper form and I’m thankful that my kids can walk into a gym and know that they understand how to do exercises correctly. This will follow them the rest of their lives. However, my favorite thing about Frank is the relationships he has formed with my kids. They know with certainty that he is in their corner. He calls and gives pep talks to my daughter before and after tournaments. I love that Frank is often the first person she calls when she has good news to share about successes in her sport. This is because he considers the kids he trains to be like family. He tells them they are, treats them like they are, and they know they are as a result. This not only applies to his relationship with them as individuals, but also exists between his athletes as well. It’s apparent that they take on his mentality and treat each other like family. Overall, Frank’s training is first rate and his ability to connect with his athletes is extraordinary. I tell my kids all the time they have the best trainer around and we all firmly believe that is true. We are very grateful for him.

Our teens/young men are elite basketball players. We found Frank Childress about 4 years ago, realizing that the trainer is the most important piece of the puzzle. It would be impossible to state the many ways Frank has helped our boys. Athletically, development for injury prevention stays at the top of the priority list, along with the focus on strength, agility, and conditioning. Frank dedicates himself to the individual athlete, with his motivating, intentional drive to address not only each athlete’s body type and abilities, but also the mental aspects of identity and self-worth. With positivity and fun ideas, our boys are better versions of themselves: developing confidence socially, feeling successful, strong and capable. They now pay attention to nutrition labels, avoid junk foods, and see the results in the gym and on the court. Frank keeps the groups small, effectively addressing each athlete individually and instilling the camaraderie and support the athletes need. Frank brims with enthusiasm for life and connecting to people. His gift is reaching out and helping these athletes. I can’t put a price on that. He is irreplaceable.

We sent our son to Frank with a simple goal, to be trained like an athlete. Well we got that and so much more… We got FRANK! I mean, Frank invests his whole heart in the kids he trains. That level of commitment has given our son a strength that goes way beyond physical fitness. Frank gives these children strength training for life.
